Recall late last year the much heralded “Hope for Homeowners” program. The $300 billion of taxpayer money was estimated by Washington to help 400,000 families to stay in their homes.
As usual with Washington bureaucrats, the assumptions were wildly incorrect and the process convoluted.
Instead of the 400,000 families being helped, the reality is that 752 applications were actually submitted, and
ONE, yes 1, family home was saved.
This should not give much HOPE for our newly socialized and master planned society.
